Vinyasa Yoga features dynamic flowing sequences combined with controlled breathing to create a moving meditation. Virtual Class Updates + Hatha Yoga tomorrow + New YouTube Class

Greetings, yoga family!

Virtual Class Updates

It has been wonderful “seeing” you this week in our virtual classes. Just a heads up that all online classes will now take place on Zoom. What does this change for you? Almost nothing! You will still sign up for classes on MindBody (click here), and you will still get automatically emailed the link to join the live stream class. The only difference is that the link to join the class will be sent to you in a MindBody confirmation email, right after you sign up for a class. We look forward to seeing you at an online class soon!

Also, a slight schedule change: Starting next week, Amy Mertz will be teaching Hatha Yoga on Mondays at 10:00am. Mariah will shift her class to Fridays at 10:00am, and her class will also include an optional journaling component. Log onto Zoom at 9:45am, and you’ll receive a meditative journaling prompt that ties into the theme of the yoga class. Or, skip the journaling and just join for yoga at 10.

Join us tomorrow (Friday) for virtual Hatha Yoga with Amy Mertz at 10:00am EST!

Hatha Yoga is our foundational yoga class. Emphasizing yoga fundamentals, this class includes standing poses, seated poses, reclining poses, and breathing techniques, and may also include inversions and movements such as sun salutations. Hatha Yoga is ideal for beginners to seasoned practitioners, and aims to increase flexibility, improve balance, build strength, and enhance health and well-being for students of all abilities.

And finally… Celebrate Mother’s Day with a yoga class with Patty Clark!

Check out this lovely, mostly-Yin Yoga class (at the wall, yum!) with Patty Clark on YouTube. Get cozy, find a wall, and enjoy a beautiful message of savoring what is. A perfect practice to cultivate contentment and gratitude this Mother’s Day.

Love to all, be well.
