CORRECTED: Mid Summer’s Eve Candlelit Restorative Yoga + Gong Bath!

Join us for a magical evening of restorative yoga and sound healing! Sara-Eleanor Yarbrough, experienced Sound Healer, is teaming up with our own wonderful Patty Clark to offer a very special Mid Summer’s Eve Restorative Yoga Class and Gong Bath on Friday, August 4th!

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a beautiful healing practice, balancing out our busy and often active summer lifestyle.  Being in gentle poses longer, in stillness,  we open the meridian lines and allow the energy (chi) to travel more freely.  We become receptive to many aspects of our being, the physical, emotional, and spiritual.

It’s a coming home to oneself, where we’ve always been, to experience deep inner peace that we’ll take with us off our mats and into our lives.

Gong Bath

In a gong bath, the metaphor holds true – the vibrating tones of the gong wash through the mental and physical blocks of mind, body and spirit to promote a deep sense of well-being, relaxation and inner peace.  More then a musical instrument the gong is a conduit for vibrational waves of energy, releasing reverberating tones of great fullness and resonance that interact with the body on a deep, cellular level.

Date: Friday, August 4th
Time: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Location: Higgins Lake Studio
Cost: $25. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Sign up here, or call 313-737-1650 to pre-register.

We hope to see you there!

Fourth of July Schedule, SUP Yoga + Essential Yoga July 5th!

Holiday week schedule change: Hatha Yoga in Higgins Lake on Tuesday, July 4th at 5:30pm is canceled due to the holiday. *All other classes, including Core Yoga at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 4th, will take place at their normally scheduled dates and times.*

Join us for SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) Yoga, every Sunday starting July 2nd! This fun, outdoor class meets at B&B Marina (431 Clare Blvd on the north shore of Higgins Lake). Class starts at 10:00am, and runs approximately 75 minutes (we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early). If you don’t have your own paddle board, we strongly recommend reserving a paddle board with B&B Marina by calling (989) 821-6549 as they often sell out in advance. Paddle board rentals are $10. The cost for the single yoga class is $15, or you can use your package or membership. We recommend wearing yoga clothes that you don’t mind getting wet :).

Also, join us next Wednesday, July 5th for Essential Yoga at the Gift in Grayling! Don’t miss this special class which blends high grade essential oils with a slow flow yoga practice. Please note that this class meets at The Gift in Grayling, located 1 mile east of town on M-72. Cost is $15 in advance, or $20 at the door. Sign up here.

Have a joyful holiday week – we look forward to seeing you in class!

Namaste,
