Coming up next week: Essential Oils Yoga + New Class in Grayling!

Register now for our April Essential Oils + Yoga Workshop! Join us on Wednesday, April 5th at The Gift in Grayling. Click here to pre-register and save $5!

In this workshop, which meets on the first or second Wednesday of each month, we will use top-quality DoTerra essential oils to tap into a deep level of balance and well-being during our yoga practice. Each month’s yoga practice and essential oils are different, and are based on what we need to bring balance into our lives for the time of year.

The workshop begins with an introduction of the oils we will use throughout the class, as well as their unique properies and benefits. Then, yoga instructor Mariah Frye Colie will guide students through a rejuvenating and relaxing yoga class, which is specifically created to coincide with the oils. These top-grade essential oils are applied aromatically, and topically throughout class by essential oil specialist, Nicole Mygrants. This class is inspired by the season, so it involves different oils and asanas each month. Each class is designed to leave students feeling regenerated, empowered, and balanced. This 90 minute workshop is open to all levels!

Mark your calendars for a new class!

Starting April 6th, Dianne South will be teaching Slow Vin/Yin Yoga at our Grayling studio every Thursday at 9:00am. Vin to Yin combines the benefits of a Yang (active) Vinyasa Flow practice with a releasing Yin (passive) practice. This class begins with dynamic warming of the muscles of the body through a series of linked, flowing postures designed to bring heat, strength and awareness to your practice. The second part of the practice introduces the calming Yin postures that target the ligaments, fascia, joints and even the bones. Yin cultivates a sense of physical and mental awareness. Guided breath work will be utilized after Savasana to bring our Yin and Yang energies back into balance. Find your perfect balance with Vin to Yin on Thursday morning!
