Don’t Miss our November Essential Oils Workshop!

There is still some space left for our Essential Oils + Yoga: November Workshop on Wednesday, November 2nd at The Gift in Grayling. Click here to pre-regiester and save $5!

In this workshop, which meets on the first or second Wednesday of each month, we will delve into our profoundly powerful sense of scent, and use it to tap into a deep level of balance and well-being during our yoga practice. Each month’s yoga practice and essential oils are different, and are based on what we need to bring balance into our lives for the time of year.

The workshop begines with an introduction of the oils we will use throughout the class, as well as their unique properies and benefits. Then, Mariah will lead a rejuvenating and relaxing yoga class, which is specifically created to coincide with the oils. These top-grade essential oils are applied aromatically, and topically throughout class by essential oil specialist, Nicole Mygrants. This class is inspired by the season, so it involves different oils and asanas each month. Each class is designed to leave students feeling regenerated, empowered, and balanced. This 90 minute workshop is open to all levels!

The Organic Gypsy THREE DAY DETOX PROGRAM :

Your body can detox on its own, but we are exposed to external and internal toxins daily through the air we breathe, the food we eat, substances we drink, body/home products we use, and medications we take. When toxins are not eliminated efficiently, the body gets bogged down in a myriad of ways: constipation, stress, poor food choices, lack of exercise, decreased water intake, increased alcohol use, heavy chemical exposure, medicine use, etc. During our 3 Day Clean Eating detox your body eliminates accumulated toxins and replenishes nutrients. Food and drinks can be extremely addicting, so in the beginning of a detox you might feel fatigued, have headaches, and sugar cravings. This probably means your body is functioning properly and working to get back on track. After an extended detox or clean eating lifestyle, you can expect to see sugar cravings dissipate, more energy, more moderate and balanced body temperature, regular bowel movements, reduced bloating, and reduced headaches.

What to do? Nourish yourself with wholesome, healthy, and organic cuisine. Sugar, soy, gluten, dairy, and corn free!

Detox Program Includes:

  • Green Juice x3 for daily breakfast
  • Salad (x3)
  • Soup (x3)
  • Healthy Snacks (x3)

Green juices are the same daily, 3 different salads, 3 different soups. Nourish yourself with wholesome, healthy, and organic cuisine. Sugar, soy, gluten, dairy, and corn free!

3-Day Detox Cost: $125

Join us for Wellness 101 + Vitamins on Monday, 10/17 after Core Yoga!

Hello friends!

Some of you have been asking me about the vitamins I have been taking, and it just so happens that the person I get them from, Preya Shah, is coming to Grayling this Monday (10/17)! She will tell you all about them, give you samples, and take orders if you want to try them!

Preya is a physical therapist, Sivananda Yoga Master, and practicer of holistic medicine. She is a wealth of knowledge in the realms of health, nutrition and wellness, and she has a very high bar for the quality of sustenance she feeds herself and her family. She is also a dear friend of Mariah’s and other STY community members, having taught regularly at Stone Turtle in the summer of 2015. Her full bio is below.

Preya will be presenting the line of vitamins she reps, called Nutra Metrix, at a Wellness 101 workshop, which will take place right after Core Yoga on Monday, 10/17 (approximately 10:15am). I do not usually endorse anything (except yoga and cross country skiing, of course ;)), but I do endorse these vitamins: they are free of fillers and synthetic ingredients, completely vegan, and improved my energy levels and overall feeling of vitality the day I started taking them.

Mark your calendars!

Wellness 101 Workshop with Preya
When: Monday, October 17th at approximately 10:15am, ending around 11:00am (workshop directly follows Core Yoga from 9:00am – 10:00am)
Cost: FREE
Location: Grayling Studio

Preya’s full bio:

Preya earned her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan before she set off on a journey to understand different healing modalities from around the world. This personal passage resulted in years of studying Yoga in India, Herbal Medicine in Bali, and Holistic Medicine in Japan, which lead to a deep level of healing and connection to her true self. It’s from this profound desire to understand authentic healing, that Preya’s specialty of Mind, Body, and Spirit has blossomed. She has also spent years spending nutrition, supplementation, and craniosacral therapy as adjuncts to her yogic practice. Preya has been actively involved in learning, teaching and living the Yogic lifestyle for over 10 years. She has obtained the title of Yoga Acharya (Yoga Master) through the Sivananda International Yoga Centers.

Hope to see you there!

Much love,

Mariah
